How Deji Adeyanju Misfired Big Time - Adenuga

The recent vituperations of the misguided and opposition sponsored so-called activist Mr. Deji Adeyanju has been described as “the level of desperation and even the frustration of the opposition and the manifest failures of their antics which are aimed at destabilizing the present government.”

Mr. Segun Adenuga in a statement made available to journalists in Lagos today said “Adeyanju has taken to expressing his anger and frustration through insults by calling whoever supports Buhari a Bastard. He equally poured invectives on his fellow traveler of the IPOB leader, Nnamdo Kanu. Sanity had indeed departed from this misguided neophyte.”

Text of the statement reads: “Genuine activists and true revolutionaries use sane and convincing language in order to win as many people as possible to their side. But mercenaries who disguise as activists insult the very people whose interest they purport to advance. Those who descend to the use of insults and gutter language are simply displaying their frustrations borne out of inability to fulfill a self-centered agenda. That is exactly the case of Deji Adeyenju. As a mercenary, he had always been a beneficiary of an arrangement that provides him money as incentive to parade as an activist. And because such monies are free and unaccounted for he became has grown and quiet accustomed to it. But recently things went terribly awry. He lost the money, he lost the show and lost his sanity thereby insulting persons he ought to pursue and turned into his foot soldiers.

“The recent images of his being rescued by the Police from the hands of some mob,his own mob he freely mobilized to the street for his own selfish interest,  was an operation gone bad this time around. Adeyenju is known to always visit his sponsors prior to such operations. He collects huge sums of money and promises to deliver. What he does is to rent a crowd and display his hate filled misguided activity as genuine protest of concerned citizens of the country.

“Unfortunately, the rented crowd is often either shortchanged or out rightly cheated. Their due is not always given to them. This time around, he did but never left the arena unscathed as usual on that fateful day. He promised, he collected down payment from his paid masters but failed to deliver.

“Unknown to him those he usually rents wanted to show him that their 'mumu don do'. They came to the venue and rough handled him, a sort of pay back that he least anticipate. Yet will go long way to affect is odous business for a long time. As a proof that their target was Adeyenju, they never went after anyone else. It was him and him alone they were after. All the others present were spared. Adeyenju was the target, he was the contractor. The man with their money. It was a contract gone terribly wrong. His sponsors were not happy that he didn’t deliver the impact promised, his boys, the ones he rents are for this type of operation were after him. It was a double blow; he lost the remaining part of the contract money and he gained the anger of the crowd he usually rents. No rest for the wicked.

“The likes of Adeyenju are better ignored. But would he own mob ignore him? That is different ball game entirely. But i know the four categories of Nigerians he has been working for. They are as follows:

“Those who contested with President Buhari and lost the contest as a result of rejection by the people but who think they can destabilize the system and make it ungovernable for the President. They are willing to go to any length including calling for “days of rage and sorrow” just to make their point. Among them are cowards who remain in the background manipulating the foolhardy in order to confuse the gullible.

“The second group are those who have lost their privileged positions which they were using to rape the Nation and plunder our national assets. This group had always tied their fortunes to the umbilical cord of the nation’s wealth, milking it dry for their selfish needs only. Now the chances to do so have narrowed so thinly that nothing really flows. They are ready to destroy everything rather than get nothing.

“There are the religious bigots who at the slightest opportunity align with narcissist, hate mongers and fellow travelers within and outside the country to try to bring down the government. Their anger is borne out of loss of privileges and the unsolicited resources that go with it.

“Another group is made up of misguided mercenaries for hire ready and willing to do the dirty jobs of all the others. This is where the likes of Adeyenju belong. They take contract to rent a crowd and provide a show of shame in order to get paid.

“This time around those rented had revolted and the sponsors have not paid up the balance. The soldier of Fortune is angry and frustrated. His answer is to rain insults, be very abusive and fake illnesses that do not exist. There is indeed no peace for the wicked. To plunge the Country into crisis and jump off to meet their pay masters in America and Dubai was the goal. But it failed.

And on a final note, right from our childhood we were told that “those who insult others are actually insulting themselves” those who call others 'Bastards' are actually the real bastards who wished everyone was like them.”

Rivers APC Crisis: Aguma's Spoiler's Phase 'Ll Soon Fizzle Out Like Abe's – Eze

... Says Those Struggling To Hijack Party Structures Are Jokers

... CHARGES MEMBERS TO REMAIN STEADFAST

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-South, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has identified the the art of betraying the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, by those supposedly close to him as the new money spinner in Rivers State politics.

Chief Eze, who disclosed this in a new statement he released to journalists in the South-South on Monday, also said those who had made this new trend their business are those who had benefitted most from the kindness and leverages streaming from the Minister, who is also a former governor of the oil-rich Rivers State.

"In the politics of today, particularly in Rivers State, the trending strategy for one to make it big and gain popularity is to gather a few of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi's allies and commission them  for  the special task of casting aspersions on the Hon. Minister, with the aim of sullying and robbing dirt on his image and bringing him to public odium.

"These folks will gladly fall prey, notwithstanding the stresses and strains Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi may have gone through to nurture them in the power game.

"This is the new industry in the politics of the oil-rich Niger Delta State and it is called the Pull Amaechi Down (PAD) Industry. Those that belong to this category can be described as not just mere allies, but key holders of the Minister's empowerment boardroom", he lamented.

Drawing reference from the recent legal hurdle placed against the planned conduct of congresses for the Rivers State chapter of the APC by Hon. Igo Aguma, an erstwhile ally of Hon. Amaechi, Eze lamented that those who should owe their entire lives to the Minister, because of what he has singlehandedly made out of them, are the ones now being used by enemies within and outside, to cast dirt on him.

Chief Eze, a former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), said The history of this Pull Amaechi Down political concept is traceable to its proponent and  incumbent Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, who did not just nurture the idea, but made it viable, lucrative and attractive to those who share similar sense of sabotage, hiding under the masthead of loyalty to do mischief.

Chief Eze said Nyesom Wike belongs to the class of politicians heavily empowered by Rt. Hon. Chibuike  Amaechi who defied several warnings by those conversant with the antecedents of the Obio/Akpor-born politician.

"He influenced his reappointment as the Executive Chairman of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area and thereafter made him the most powerful Chief of Staff ever in Nigeria.  Rotimi Amaechi further nominated him against the wish of Dr. Jonathan Goodluck, then President of Nigeria, as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Alas! today, Ezebunwo, in his spirit of ingratitude, is one of those ready to do anything to ensure that Amaechi is pulled down to the mud. What a sad report!!

"The party chief said, Senator Magnus Abe, envious of Wike's exploit through the pull Amaechi down concept, embraced the idea and began an aggressive combat to hunt down Rt. Hon. Amaechi. Senator Abe had on several fora confessed that he remains the highest political investment of Amaechi.

"True enough, Amaechi made him Minority Leader of the State Assembly and imposed him on the administration of Sir Peter Odili as Commissioner for Information, after which he (Amaechi) appointed him the most powerful Secretary to the Rivets State Government, contrary and totally against the wish of his Ogoni kismen. Chibuike Amaechi, further imposed him as a two-time Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is worrisome to men of conscience to learn that today, Senator Abe finds pleasure in this new industry.

"Not only did he frustrate the chances of the APC clinching victory at the 2019 polls, he denied Rivers people the opportunity of instituting good governance and the result is the mal adminstration Rivers people suffer today.

On Igochukwu Aguma, Chief Eze said, "he saw this new industry so rewarding and quickly commissioned himself to a fight against a man who had done him no wrong. It might interest the world to know that Hon. Igo Aguma was forced on the Peter Odili's administration by Amaechi as Commissioner, replacing his elder brother, Chinwe Aguma  earlier pencilled down as a Commissioner nominee and thereafter, Amaechi saw to his nomination and election as a two-time member of the Federal House of Representatives.

"Igo Aguma was also charged with the power of approving who will be empowered and awarded a contract in Amaechi's government. It pricks the conscience to learn that Igochukwu Aguma has conscripted himself into the group of unconscious and conscienceless mortals, who derive pleasure in the sufferings of Rivers people", he said.

Eze foresees many of other Amaechi allies who are currently on the sideline not ready to condemn all that are happening to Amaechi are preparing themselves for their own inglorious outing by 2020 while ensuring that those who are honest and committed to the vision of Amaechi for a better Rivers State and Nigeria are weakened and not empowered so that they will join them in their devilish plot but surely they will gather but not in the name of our God and they will scatter in a way that they will be confused.

While expressing confidence that all the plots to pull down Amaechi will be brought to naught, Eze encouraged committed members of Rivers State APC to remain calm and be a bit more patient, stressing that the party will only emerge stronger.

He counselled those desperate to smear Amaechi and destroy the Rivers APC to be weary of their desperation, stating that a thousand years of history cannot be erased so easily and urged  politicians to be disciplined in their actions for the sake of posterity.

The party bigwig reemphasized that, to disgrace Amaechi out of a party he gave his 'all' to build, is a task that can never be achieved unless the God of justice is no longer in operation.

Eze commended his brother and friend Chief Allwell Onyesoh, a pillar behind Abe's revolt, for accepting that it is time for them in Abe's Group to move to another political platform.

According to Eze, Onyesoh had said "If we, too, after so much and nothing is happening, decide to move, that won’t make us bad people. If we can no longer organise ourselves and the powers-that-be are not helping matters, we will look at those who are organised if we must continue to play the game. There will be realignment of forces".  This tallies with the position of Senator Magnus Abe who publicly stated that they will be joining Wike who is better organised and have solutions to his group's plight.

Eze, however encouraged the politician and his acolytes, saying "as we expect them to move to their better organised platform, I appeal to them to do that peacefully and allow APC to have peace and forge ahead accordingly".

Rivers APC Chieftain - Fubara Ohaka, Slams Abe

Rivers APC Chieftain - Fubara Ohaka, Slams Abe
...Says Chukwuemeka Eze is an Ardent Custodian and Promoter of Progressives Tenets.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers, Hon. Fubara Ohaka, has bemoaned comments credited to former Rivers South/East Senator, Magnus Ngei Abe in a media publication made available through his Spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson, wherein he accused Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze of conniving with the Hon. Minister of Transportation and S' South leader of the All Progressives Congress to incite the national leadership of the party and its members in Rivers State against resolving the protracted impasse rocking the party in the state.

Fubara Ohaka, a House of Assembly aspirant for Emohua State Constituency under the APC in the 2019 elections said it bothers men and women of goodwill to learn that Sen. Abe is yet to regain consciousness from the strange spirit that overwhelmed and lured him to deprive members of the All Progressives Congress and the good people of Rivers state the constitutionally enshrined right of exercising their franchise.

Chief Ohaka, in a media publication released to media houses stressed that members of the party had been quiet and patiently waiting for the ex-lawmaker to publicly appeal to Rivers people for denying them their chance of enthroning good governance, but wondered why the ogoni-born politician has remained adamant, confining himself in the realm of fanciful fantasy and resorting to serial campaigns of calumny to smear the image of the Transportation Minister, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze and other leaders of the party who are working hard to rebuild the party in the state.

Contrary to Sen. Abe's position, Hon. Fubara Ohaka maintained that Chief Chukwuemeka Eze is a custodian and promoter of progressive ideals, a dedicated and patriotic party man who has risked everything to ensure that democratic dividends gets to Rivers people in line with the terms of the social contract theory, postulated by Oliver Wendel Holmes.

The party stalwart further opined that Chukwuemeka Eze, having shown much commitment to liberate Rivers from the shackles of the PDP maladministration in the state is more an indigene than Sen. Abe, who did the devil's bidding through acts of treachery and sabotage.

He said Rivers people will continue to remain grateful to Chukwuemeka Eze for always speaking up against Sen. Abe's scheming against Rt. Hon. Amaechi and the APC, a party he claims to be a member.

He tasked party faithful to remain focused and continue to pray for the APC and its leaders in the state, not leaving out the scheduled judgement on 18 December 2019 in the case brought against the previously scheduled Congresses of the party by Ibrahim Omar & Ors.

CNI condemns Punch for Culture of Hate Mongering

The Concerned Nigerians Initiative (CNI) has condemned what it describes as the Punch Newspaper’s culture of hate mongering against President Muhammadu Buhari and the Government he heads.

In a press release titled, “Punch and the Culture of Hate Mongering”, circulated to journalists, media houses both national and international online newspapers and blogs, the CNI said, their “attention has been drawn to an Editorial of the Punch Newspaper of Wednesday 12th December, 2019 in which the paper successfully managed to expose its morbid hatred for President Muhammadu Buhari and the Government he heads. This is coming on the heels of the spirited attempts by Punch Newspaper to influence the 2019 elections through jaundiced reportage and several opinion pages that were aimed at discrediting the President and his Government. Beyond just the attempt by the Newspaper to discredit Mr. President, it has progressed from just expressing hatred for the President to inciting the public through the invocation of derogatory means that instill fear to insurrection. Imagine this statement “Nigeria has had more than its fair share of draconian rulers, whether in military or civil garb, but none has succeeded in breaking our resilience and irrepressible spirit”. This is outright manipulation of a situation with a sinister motive meant to spark outrage which borne semblance and emblem of revolution now proponents. These are inciting statements and should be treated as such.”

“Because Nigerians are peace loving and would not do the biddings of the Punch and those they are in cohort with, it disdainfully label Nigerians ‘lethargic’. This is really unfortunate. For a paper that said it is protecting the interest of Nigerians on the basis of which it labelled the President a dictator to refer to the same people it purports to protect as lethargic is irresponsibility taken to a new height never known before in this country. Nigerians are no fools. They know those who love them. No amount of blackmail will force Nigerians to do what ordinarily they will not do”, the CNI stated.

CNI asked, “does Punch and several other vocal minority groups in Nigeria think they can undermine the silent majority believing that they alone have monopoly of knowledge of right and wrong?”

The statement signed by the trio of Prince Tonye Princewill, Ibrahim Mohammed Ibrahim Esq and Ekpeki Michael noted that “it is obvious from the position of the Paper that it is now a partisan entity in cohort with the opposition whose intention is to snatch the mandate freely given to the President by Nigerians. This intent is obvious from the drive to cast the President in a military garb that will portray him as a dictator. To drive home the point, the Paper promised to refer the President as a Military General and his Government a Regime, meaning an authoritarian government. These were the exact words used by the advocate of the so-called revolution facing trial. It is now obvious that the call for a Revolution had been an idea beyond the proponents whose faces are known to Nigerians.”

The statement reads: “Our position is solidified by the common thread and position that connect the Editorial to some media outfits and opposition political personalities. A relatively unknown online publication, the Signal Newspaper, came up with its own version where it informed the general public that “we shall henceforth address President Muhammadu Buhari with the prefix: ‘Dictator’ in all our publications.”  It is emerging that there is a deliberate attempt from the part of those that are against the progress being made since Mr. President assumed office to cash in on Omoyele Sowore’s self-inflicted travail to destabilize the nation. The linkage is becoming clearer by the day.  Is it not curious that the Speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly equally issued a statement in support of the Punch editorial?

“We the silent majority wish to put them on notice that our silence in no way represent weakness or incapacity to provide support to the President in the most forceful manner. For a start, we wish to call on all those who support the President to as a matter of course boycott all Punch publications. None of us will glorify their paper with our eyes as readers or with our resources as advertisers. We shall continue this boycott; continue to mobilize others to boycott the paper until they recant from their dubious journalism of hate mongering, incitement and abuse of privilege.

“Those who are bent on destroying this country because of their morbid hatred for an individual or groups of individuals are surely bound to fail. Nigeria is greater than all of them. No amount of blackmailing and incitement will move Nigerians to destroy the only country we have. We are quite aware of what the people of Rwanda went through.

“The future of this great nation is in the hands of God Almighty and not some selfish and self-confessed purveyors of destructive divisions within the polity. They can continue their posturing and hate mongering as they did in the past four years of the Buhari Government, but they will never succeed in breaking the spirit of the Nigerian people committed to remaining together as one indivisible country. All they have succeeded in doing so far is embarrass the country and expose their contempt for the President and the Nigerian people who freely elected him to lead them to fight corruption and retrieve Nigeria from the hands of the corrupt.
Enough of this hate campaign!”

Abe's Men as Wike's Commissioner Nominees: Eze Demands Public Apology from Abe

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-South region, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has lamented the sorry state of affairs within the party in Rivers State, accusing Senator Magnus Abe of being the mastermind.

The party chief, who was also erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People's Democratic Party (nPDP), also lamented the situation where members of the party in the state had been deprived of the gains they were naturally entitled to, as a result of the sacrifices they made in various forms to make the party sure-footed in the run up to, during and after the 2015 general elections.

In a statement made available to media houses in the South-South, the party chieftain said the political fracas was fuelled and further refuelled by the former lawmaker in connivance with the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State and some external forces.

He said the political impasse turned out to be a fantastic political strategy to destabilize the APC as the party could not field any candidate for the 2019 elections, thereby denying Rivers people their democratic right of choosing who represents them in the Parliament and in other positions in the government as allowed by the constitution and other regional and international human rights instruments.

He added that the imbroglio gave Governor Nyesom Wike and other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) an easy, uncontested and unrestrained access to victory at the polls, even when their performances in the first term fell below average in all ramifications.

Eze, a party stalwart in the state, said he was privileged to foresee the danger looming ahead of the 2019 elections and warned the party and her leadership to be weary of wolfs in sheep's clothing, saying "Abe and few others had entered into a satanic alliance with Gov. Wike to cripple the party to, allow the PDP an easy win with some mouthwatering and handsome rewards. Alas! It is saddening that the party fell prey to the trap of this evil genius and satanic saboteur." Eze lamented.

"The efforts of the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), towards the enthronement and sustainability of the APC led Federal Government cannot be overestimated. In pursuance of this struggle, hundreds of members lost their lives, while others lost limbs. A large number of followers and supporters lost properties worth millions in the  process.

"This, ordinarily places members of the party in Rivers State in a pedestal to be handsomely recompensed, but  instead, the party  has become a shadow of what it ought to be, having been engrossed in an endless and mindless internal crisis ignited by a former Senator of the Federal Republic, Magnus Ngei Abe, who represented the South-East Senatorial District of Rivers State", he said.

He said three groups of people are the major beneficiaries of the well thought-out  and properly executed plot: "First, the PDP in Rivers State; with the crisis, the party contested and won the 2019 general elections unchallenged.

"Secondly, the internal forces within the APC; To this group, if they succeed in bringing Abe onboard the ship of Rivers governance, they would have rendered Rt. Hon. Amaechi irrelevant in the politics of Nigeria and the 2023 political game plan. To the glory of God they failed as Amaechi has proved that he is the light of this administration.

"Thirdly, Sen. Abe;  Abe was conscripted by the forces to fight the party to a standstill with the promise and hope that he will emerge leader of the party over and above Rt. Hon. Amaechi", he said.

Eze, a media stalwart said his efforts to expose Sen. Abe's anti-party scheming and secret acts of sabotage attracted several threats to his dear life and that of members of his immediate family. He however posited that -  "God continued to cover us in His feathers and under His wings we found refuge."

Eze said Senator Magnus Abe shook the entire world and added credence to his earlier position when he stated thus in a public forum: “Some people are busy looking for who is causing the problem, but you (Wike) are trying to look for solutions. I think we should ALIGN with those looking for solutions and LEAVE those looking for causes."

The party chief said -  "as much as I am not against Abe aligning himself with any group, as such falls within his constitutional province, I cannot sit back and watch him conscript the entire party structure into such an unwholesome plot in furtherance of his selfish political adventures."

"With the public disclosure of aligning himself and his scanty group with the PDP government in Rivers State, one need not consult a soothsayer to further discern the rational behind Abe's commitment towards the destruction and decimation of the Rivers APC after frustrating genuine efforts by the National Leadership of the party and some stakeholders in the State to resolve the protracted crisis" Eze disclosed.

He counselled the National Reconciliation Committee of the APC as well as the Committee to be constituted by the South-South caucus not to waste their time discussing any reconciliation issue with Sen. Abe, as he has completed his task of destroying the APC in Rivers State and is set to move on, particularly now that Governor Wike has accommodated his nominees amongst the thirteen Commissioner designates submitted for screening to the Rivers State House of Assembly and currently awaiting appointment of portfolios.

The party chief commended Governor Nyesom Wike for openly appreciating the damages Abe has done to the soul of the Rivers APC to aid his reelection into the Brick House by appointing two  key members of his small group - Dr. Peter Meedeh and Bariere Thomas as commissioner designates, awaiting portfolios.

He further averred that - "now that Abe is beginning to reap his harvests bountifully from the PDP and Gov. Wike on whose soil he toiled and sowed, I demand public apology from the former Senator, for all the public denials he has made against my position on his political fraternity with the opposition party in the state and other anti party antics before, during and after the 2019 elections."

The party chieftain, passionately appealed to Gov. Wike to consider Sen. Abe as Commissioner for Information to replace Barr. Emma Okah, having defended his corrupt style of governance which has left majority of Rivers people in squalor for the past fours years, notwithstanding the billions of naira that hits the state coffers monthly from federal allocations and other internal  sources of income generation.

Eze however frowned at the governor for ignoring  PDP faithful recommended by the State Party Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah for appointment as Commissioners. This, he described as unfair, knowing what Felix Obuah has suffered and contributed in the satanic grand plot to enthrone a PDP government in the State.

Eze appealed to genuine APC members and leaders to go about their normal businesses as all the odds and obstacles against the party and her leaders will soon fizzle out now that the chickens are coming home to roostt.
