Dubai Tourism and Princewill Trust: Winners of Vision and Success Challenge Emerge

In their efforts to increase education opportunities for Nigerian students, the Dubai Tourism Corporation for Commerce Marketing (DTCCM), under its education tourism initiative, CLR education consulting, and in collaboration with Princewill Trust, has formally revealed the winners of the 2021 Vision and Success Opportunity Challenge.

The winners of the 2021 Vision and Success Opportunity Challenge who include Ms. Soruchi Nwanodi, Mr. Samuel Onyeocha, Mr. Melford Ekene and Ms. Deborah Ibaningo are all Rivers State students who scaled all the hurdles to success, though the competition gave an opportunity for ten winners, but unfortunately only four met the required standards.

According to a statement made available to journalists, “the winners are rewarded with a group trip to Dubai which comprises of an Economy Roundtrip Flight Ticket (origination Port Harcourt), Hotel Accommodation for 6 nights (includes breakfast/lunch/dinner), Entry Permit (Visa), Covid tests, Ground Transportation in Dubai, Airport Transfer in Dubai and Operational/Leisure Tours. The projected travel date is in September 2021.”

The Vision and Success Opportunity Challenge was a forum created by Princewill Trust, where ambitious young leaders pitch ideas and strategies for furthering their vision and success in life. The challenge was designed to help current Nigerian university undergraduates and postgraduates imagine realistic career models and investigate how to shift from concept to reality while still pursuing their studies.

Prince Tonye Princewill, founder and initiator of Princewills Trust, had this to say: “It took a huge effort by Stella Fubara-Obinwa and her team in Dubai Tourism and Nneka Oduah and her team at CLR to pull this off. For that, I am truly grateful. We would have loved to have more people go, but the standards are high and this aspect will never be compromised. What the team at Princewills Trust will do is continue to support initiatives like this, with a view to further promoting the next generation of our Rivers youths.

"Thank you Dubai Tourism, thank you CLR, thank you to my team and big congratulations to the winners. I know that they will make us all very very proud.”

He noted that the exercise was in partnership with Dubai Tourism Corporation for Commerce Marketing under its Education Tourism Initiative and CLR education consulting, and congratulated the winners.
